The main reason for the decrease? People gave up looking for work and they aren’t counted! Worse private sector job creation grew only 103K that’s less then the 200K economists expected and far below the 125K needed EVERY MONTH in order to keep the unemployment rate stable, IE just to keep up with population growth. To get the rate down we’ll need upwards of 200K jobs per month. Granted, things aren’t getting worse but after 5 trillion in spending you’d think they’d be getting better.
